Fred Ellis Brock is the author of the best-selling Retire on Less Than You Think: The New York Times Guide to Planning Your Financial Future (2nd Edition – Times Books/Henry Holt, 2008); Health Care on Less Than You Think: The New York Times Guide to Getting Affordable Coverage (Times Books/Henry Holt, 2006); and Live Well on Less Than You Think: The New York Times Guide to Achieving Your Financial Freedom (Times Books/Henry Holt, 2005). In addition to The Seven trilogy of novels, his cross-genre thrillers explore kidnapping, murder, and UFO conspiracies pulled straight from today's headlines. For 14 years he was a business editor and columnist for The New York Times. He has also worked as an editor and reporter for The Wall Street Journal, The Houston Chronicle and The Louisville Courier-Journal. He holds an M.Ed. from Temple University and a B.A. in English literature from Hanover College. A member of the Authors Guild, he is represented by the David Black Literary Agency and AEI Speakers Bureau.
