Fill out the form on our Join page. You'll receive a welcome email within 24 hours with details for your nearest chapter.
Is membership free?+
Yes — base membership is free. Active and Chapter Leader tiers offer additional benefits and start at $9/month.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Absolutely. Manage your tier from your member portal. There are no contracts or cancellation fees.
How do I update my details?+
Sign in to your portal and edit your profile, or email us and we'll handle it within one business day.
Events
Are events virtual or in person?+
Both. Most monthly discussions are hybrid. Author Spotlights are usually virtual; regional meetups are always in person.
Do I need to finish the book before joining?+
No. We welcome readers at any point in a book — and even those just curious about the conversation.
How do I register for an event?+
Click 'Register Now' on any event card. You'll receive a calendar invite and joining details by email.
Can I attend multiple events per month?+
Yes — members are welcome at any event in any chapter, virtual or in person.
Books
How are books selected?+
Our editorial team chooses each month's titles in consultation with chapter leads, with an eye toward regional resonance, craft, and inclusion.
Can I suggest a book?+
Yes — members can submit suggestions through the portal. We read every submission and feature member picks quarterly.
Where can I buy the monthly selection?+
We link to Amazon for convenience but encourage members to shop local independent bookstores whenever possible.
Authors
Can authors apply to be featured?+
Yes. Use our contact form with the subject 'Author Submission' and include a brief bio, your latest title, and a press kit.
How does the Author Spotlight work?+
Featured authors join us for a one-hour live conversation, plus a recorded reading for our archive.
How do I submit my book?+
See our Authors page or contact us directly. We review all submissions on a quarterly basis.
